If we don't take time to rest, reflect, integrate and contemplate our experiences, all is a blur. We are stealing. What are we stealing? We are stealing the opportunity to stop and think and feel. This practice is called savoring. 

Think of savoring as it's applied to the process of fully enjoying a meal. Really enjoying it. How does that happen? Take your time. Chew. Taste. Pause. Enjoy. Feel grateful. Share your delight and appreciation with others such as the cook, the company or the Creator.

Life in the fast lane is very exciting. And in the end, that constant excitement is exhausting and numbing. Slowing down brings you back to feeling what you're doing and being more fully present with it.
